As a proud graduate of Georgia Career Institute and an active member of its Advisory Board, Nail Anatomy founder Leilani Ross returned to host Beyond the Polish—a career-focused nail technician workshop created to inspire and equip future professionals in the beauty industry.


This dynamic session covered essential topics such as professionalism, Protecting yourself with PPE, building a personal brand, understanding scope of practice, proper expectations, and building real confidence on the salon floor. Students participated in interactive activities, including a live SWOT analysis of the Nail Anatomy brand as a practical example—teaching them how to evaluate and position their own brand for long-term success.


Packed with real-world insight, engaging demos, and career-ready strategies, “Beyond the Polish” delivered powerful guidance for beauty students preparing to thrive in today’s competitive nail industry.
